Job Description: We are looking for a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to care for patients with complex health conditions, in accordance with current legislation.
You will work closely with our medical team to assess, diagnose and treat mental health issues.
Your responsibilities include the follow-up of previously diagnosed users and clinical support to our care teams.

Tasks:

  • Prioritize medical care and treatment in collaboration with physicians
  • Assess the health status of clients and ensure their follow-up
  • Prescribe diagnostic tests, medications and medical treatments
  • Working collaboratively with physicians in complex clinical situations
  • Respond to consultation requests on our virtual health platform, as required

Requirements:

  • Graduate diploma allowing practice as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Mental Health (NPS-SM) according to Quebec university requirements
  • Certificate of training in accordance with OIIQ regulations
  • Member in good standing of the OIIQ
  • OIIQ Specialist Certificate as an IPS-SM
  • Good knowledge of your professional scope of practice
  • Interest in the development of the role of the SNP-MH and interprofessional work
  • Bilingualism French and English an asset
  • 1-3 years of work experience
